Orders, Payments, and Delivery

Bulk Orders, Van & Carrier Delivery

Gravenhorse Feeds is currently distributing Horseheath and other feed products across Beds, Herts, Bucks and parts of adjoining counties with its own transport (the primary delivery area). Some regions beyond this area will also be supplied by Gravenhorse van if economic to do so.

All other deliveries are effected by pallet carrier, normally on a 2-3 day economy service, or by courier. Areas currently supplied include Aberdeen, Ayrshire, Bristol, Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Derby, Edinburgh, Essex, Kent, Leeds, Isle of Mull, Newcastle, Staffordshire, Shropshire, France, Spain, Portugal, Ireland, etc.

Deliveries will be made on normal workdays and in normal working hours, as operated by the various carriers employed for the purpose. Couriers who try but cannot deliver will leave notification as to their re-delivery or depot collection arrangements. Pallet carriers who have to fail a delivery because the customer is unable to receive it for whatever reason will notify Gravenhorse Feeds so that a fresh delivery can be arranged, or the goods returned to Gravenhorse.

**In either event, the customer will be liable for all extra charges incurred for a correctly executed order.**

Discount Codes

Are applied at checkout or when ordering by phone or text or e-mail and are generally only applied once per customer. If you’ve received one that doesn’t work, please contact us for a currently active one.

Samples

A 1p token payment for orders for samples + carriage WHICH WILL BE REFUNDED AGAINST YOUR FIRST ORDER.

Payment

All orders dispatched by carrier or courier will be prepaid. Options are Paypal (secure payment site for enhanced security), telephoned card payment or bank transfer (bill payment). Cheques are still reluctantly accepted(subject to clearance); also cash (paid in to local branch of Gravenhorse’s bank). A Paypal Invoice can be e-mailed to you.

Prices

Prices vary with order, size and delivery method. Consequently the only prices shown on the order page are the ex-works (store) prices. Delivered prices include distribution expenses, which vary with load size, distance and delivery method. On receipt of your request, with postcode, the appropriate price list can be sent by e-mail or post. Recommended retail prices are suggested to merchants, who are nevertheless at liberty to set their own prices.
